NC TMS - Monitoring for TETRA Digital Radio
A high-performance measurement system for comprehensive monitoring and analysis of TETRA radio networks.
Precise TETRA Monitoring for Maximum Reliability
With NC TMS, you get a powerful measurement system that tests and verifies all available TETRA services under real-world conditions. It uses normal TETRA terminals as active measurement probes, ensuring the results are practical and insightful. Services within the BOS digital radio network are evaluated according to BDBOS criteria.
By analyzing aspects such as radio coverage, registration time, call setup times, and voice quality, NC TMS provides in-depth insights into the network’s functionality. It also allows for the integration of control center workstations to assess the system’s overall performance.
Key Features of NC TMS
-
Network Validation
Network verification includes the analysis of radio cells, cell changes, dropped calls, and other important parameters like RSSI and LA.
-
Layer 3 Data Analysis
NC TMS captures and documents detailed Layer 3 data, which helps to pinpoint service losses and fault sources within the network.
-
Load Tests
By using multiple measurement probes, load tests can be performed to check network capacity and stability under high utilization.
-
Real-time Visualization
Thanks to its integration with the NC GEOMAP module, NC TMS visualizes extensive datasets in a simple and understandable way, allowing network operators to react quickly to problems.
Furthermore, NC TMS offers an extension with a TETRA high-performance scanner (TSMe) for even more precise radio network verification and supports the analysis of digital test transmissions. All measurement results are accessible via a user-friendly web portal in near real-time, or can be exported as a DB DUMP or an evaluated ‘Shape File’.
NC TMS: The TETRA Measurement System
Flexible Device Variants for Every Application
NC TMS is available in various versions – stationary or mobile – and can be seamlessly integrated into existing control centers. This allows for reliable assessment of network quality anytime and anywhere. All variants are designed for maximum flexibility and easy integration, whether for continuous monitoring or targeted measurement campaigns.
The stationary variant is ideal for permanent use at fixed locations. It operates fully autonomously, only requires a power connection, and can be conveniently controlled and monitored remotely. Thanks to integrated mobile connectivity, operation in remote areas is also possible without issues.
For mobile use, NC TMS offers two variants: The mobile probe is optimized for measurement vehicles with their own internet connection and allows for flexible deployments throughout the entire service area. It’s complemented by the mobile case probe, which can be used even where vehicles can’t go – with its own mobile connection and full functionality for independent on-site measurements.
