ACT-SCAN- Full Autonomous Frequency Scanner

ACT-SCAN is a fully autonomous measurement system that “scans” the environment for available frequencies and decodes them.

It delivers high scan rates, even across multiple frequency bands and networks, and therefore a high measurement data resolution even at higher speeds in mobile operation.

Reliable autonomous measurements of coverage quality

ACT-SCAN is a system for measuring the location-dependent coverage performance of radio networks in the range from 350 MHz to 6 GHz. The device is designed for fully autonomous operation in road or rail vehicles and can also be used in stationary applications.

The system has up to two Rohde & Schwarz TSME6 scanners for high-resolution and cross-technology data acquisition. This means that all mobile radio and operating radio frequencies such as GSM, WCDMA, LTE, LTE-M, NB-IoT, 5G NR, TETRA or BOS can be measured simultaneously and independently of SIM cards.

This approach also makes it possible to reliably detect interactions and possible mutual interference between different radio applications.

The system has an integrated WLAN and radio modem for a continuous connection to the central system and can be controlled remotely or locally.

The tests and certifications required for a wide range of installation locations have been verified in independent laboratories.

The ACT-SCAN has the following certifications:

  • CE
  • Fire protection according to DIN EN 45545-2
  • Electronic equipment on railway vehicles in accordance with DIN EN 50155
  • Electromagnetic compatibility certified in accordance with DIN EN 50121

Fully autonomous coverage measurements for mobile and professional radio

Autonomous
Autonomous measurement systems run unattended, around the clock. They can be used in all types of vehicles or stationary and provide measurement data at a high temporal frequency.
Reliable
The system provides measurement data at high temporal frequency and meets the strict test conditions of European certification.
Versatile
The frequency scanners used can measure different technologies simultaneously in order to reliably detect mutual influences.
